Abstract

|
Concurrent appearance of multiple myeloma with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was rare.
We report a case of multiple myeloma with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in a 75-year-old male.
Multiple myeloma was diagnosed previously and then treated with combination chemotherapy. No evidence of the disease was seen after total 32 cycles of combination chemotherapy. Five years later, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was developed in his left
tonsil
without recurrence of multiple myeloma.
Whether both tumors dervied from the same clone or not was unknown.
